How to Hang Your Metal Prints
Just this week, someone on X asked, “Hey, I ordered a metal print. Any advice on how to hang them?”
We’ve got you covered.
Let’s start with the classic option: the float mount hanger. It’s simple, clean, and widely available at most stores or online. This method gives your print that sleek “floating” look, with no visible hardware and no clutter, making it perfect for a gallery wall or a clean display setup.
But what if you’re renting, or just want to avoid power tools? One of our own crew members, Stephen, shared a great approach:
“I used three Command Strips across the black French cleat so the two plastic pieces stay together (once I get the left and right on, I take the blue painter tape off), and finally place the middle one across the two pieces. Then I cut two Command Strips, each with a pull tab for easy removal if needed, for the two spacer pieces at the bottom left and right corners. This keeps it very secure, level, and easy to move without damaging walls.”
No matter your setup, apartment, office, or home studio, there are plenty of ways to hang your metal prints securely and cleanly. These are just two that work well for us.
So now the real question: which metal print are you hanging up next?
