Artemis II Packing List

Here we are again. NASA site open. NSF stream up. Space Coast Live on the second screen. The rollout’s coming. Which means it’s time to stop pretending you can resist making the trip and actually pack.

Whether you’re heading out for rollout or holding for launch day, the bag matters. Showing up unprepared to a Moon mission is not an option.

First: the fit. You’re standing in front of a rocket going to the Moon. Dress like you meant to be there. The Artemis II Vintage tee is the obvious choice for launch day or rollout. It’s comfortable, it’s cool, and it’s mission appropriate. Toss it in the bag immediately, no debate needed.

Florida at night is a trap. It’s warm, then not. Wind picks up off the water and suddenly you’re freezing in a parking lot at 2am waiting on a launch. Bring a hoodie. Our SLS Assembly Instructions Hoodie is the one. It does double duty keeping you warm and making sure you’re ready to jump in and remind engineers that the pointy end goes up.

Next up: a hat. The Florida sun does not care about human heat tolerance. It does not care about your eyes, your forehead, or your carefully styled hair (or what remains of it). A hat is non-negotiable. Two styles let you choose your adventure. Either way, your face will thank you, and you’ll look like a professional tank watcher in the launch photos.

With the outfit handled we can speed-run the rest of your packing list.

Sunscreen (non-negotiable). Phone charger. Portable charger (because your phone WILL die at the worst possible moment). A water bottle: our TPS one is genuinely perfect for holding liquids. A hat (already covered, but bring an extra to help the uninitiated). Clothes (we generally recommend wearing them). And coffee or drink of your choice, you are potentially staying up all night for a rocket launch. Bring coffee. Bring two coffees.

That’s the list. You’re ready. Now go watch a launch.
